After searching for a ball bearing for the left rear shock without success in Chillán we went on to Siete Tazas National Park (Seven Cups).
The park seems to be very popular with the Chileans.
Oposite the waterfall there's a little sand bank on which people are sunbathing. Only few make it into the water as it is rather chilly :)
As the park is rather small we decide to make our way further north because we want to be in Santiago in two days. The way out of the park is typical for Chilean back country roads.
But that doesn't scare a Chilean with his offroad vehicle... Who cares about the paint job... So never buy a used car from Chile!
For our camp site for the evening we drove to Parque National Rio de Los Cipreses, a private park. At the camp site we were greeted by the neighbours... We also found her appartment not far off.
And we saw a number of that kind...
Because the camp site was so great we decided to spent another night there.
The next day we went for a hike and saw a number of animals and plants.
There are a lot of parrots here. They all live in the steep bank down by the river. Unfortunately it's very far away so it's difficult to see in the picture. When you zoom in you can just about make out their breeding caves.
Today (18. January) we arrived in Santiago because the Landi needs new shoes and we a hot shower :)
